Accidentally DONE checking account...how do I fix?

I accidentally hit the DONE button on the checking account and I still needed to have a transaction in that month. Is there any way to use the restore function to restore JUST the checking account back to before I hit the DONE button? ( I noticed the restore function asks if you want to do an entire...

payroll- too much tax taken out of check

We have already posted our last payroll for 2011, and have discovered that $1 too much in local tax was taken out of our pastor's paycheck. Since our next payroll will be in 2012, we cannot simply correct this in the next payroll. Does anyone know how to make this correction in payroll? Thank you.

Re: Payroll Posting Month Correction

Thanks so much for your reply. If anyone can answer this next question, we are just curious!
What is the purpose of the payroll module even asking for what month you want to post to if it ignores it and the fund accounting month chosen "overrides" what you choose in the payroll module?

Payroll Posting Month Correction

We incorrectly posted our payroll to September instead of October (in the payroll module). We found the mistake before we posted incorrectly to fund accounting. We have not yet posted in fund accounting. Could someone please let me know if it is possible to go into the payroll module and "correct" t...

Pastor's 403B setup

I have a question on setup for 403B for pastor. We have the tax table set up for his 403B to deduct 10% from his income(s). However, when we do his payroll, it only takes out 10% of his salary. It does not deduct 10% from his parsonage allowance or his social security allowance. When I go into edit ...

Payroll Tax Table Problem

Hello! I have two payroll questions, please. We realized when doing our quarterly taxes that the 4.2% employee portion of social security was only coming out of one employee correctly, and the other was only taking out a set amount. We could not determine where the set amount was being generated fro...

Re: Payroll Setup in V11

One other question...... Our pastor receives a "housing allowance" that is only taxable on PA state taxable. Under "maintain item descriptions" should we designate the "tax options" to "more taxes" and then just click "state tax"? Or should we instead just designation the "tax options" to "housing a...

Re: Payroll Setup in V11

Thank you for your response. One other question we have: When we run a "test" 941 from the 1st quarter of the year (which would have been from the Version 10 powerpoint), line 2 is incorrect by about $6,000, and line 5a is about $1394 off. Is this just because something did not convert correctly fro...

Payroll Setup in V11

We just upgraded to V11 and have a few questions we're hoping someone can answer! Thanks in advance! 1) What is the purpose of the employer tax liabilities section of the payroll module? Is this information solely for generating the 941 report, or will it impact other areas of the accounting system?...
