How can I force a sub-total of all expenses higher up in the report at a particular spot of my choosing in the income and expense report?

Yes, I agree with that. It's a pain to have to scroll thru pages of envelope numbers looking for a gap.

We have not previously used payroll accounts, but now need to add them. Is there a sample chart of accounts somewhere so I can see the way a default or basic chart of accounts including payroll is set up?
