We would enter a transaction; then figure out that we did it incorrectly; then do something else to try to reverse/fix it; then realize we did that incorrectly; etc. So there are a few times where what should have been one entry is actually 5 entries. We are having transfer problems with version 8. (we just ordered v.9 – hopefully that will help) We have $6066 in our savings account in accounting fund 03 (03-1220) that we need to disperse. $5511 is supposed to go to our checking account in accounting fund 04 (04-4610) and $555 to our checking acc...

So far we have only had one asset account (checking) but we just opened a savings account. What is the proper way to enter:
1. transfers from checking to savings
2. deposits straight into savings
