Re: "PowerChurchPlus is inaccessible"
I've reinstalled the server software, rebooted it a couple of times, tested it, and put it back into service. There are currently folks connected and running PCO on it.

"PowerChurchPlus is inaccessible"
We've had a few calls since early this morning about this, and I have been trying to recreate it with no luck until now. One of our application servers, while online, for some reason doesn't think PowerChurch is installed on it. It absolutely is, so I'm trying to figure out a fix. The problem with l...

Re: PowerChurch Online Server Updates
After the update I can no longer resize my viewing window or automatically make it fit the screen. There are glitches with the exit and resize buttons disappearing and the window going across my multiple screens rather than resizing to the one I placed it in. The initial size is adequate but I real...

Re: PowerChurch Online Server Updates
After removing and reinstalling my PowerChurch program as directed, I was able to fix the issue of the tiny text/display making it hard to see well enough to work. Today, however, I have the opposite issue: the text/display is blown up so big, it doesn't fully fit on the screen, and I can't maneuve...

Re: PowerChurch Online Server Updates
We did have a weird problem right at noon that went away. We're trying to figure out what happened. We've got hundreds of active sessions going right now and many have been active for hours. We're sorry for the inconvenience, and we're working to smooth this transition on our end as best we can.

Re: PowerChurch Online Server Updates
By default, the new client and server should be DPI-aware. That means it if you have your display scaling in Windows set to something other than 100%, the PowerChurch Online window should recognize that and resize itself accordingly. The old client required a special command in the shortcut to enabl...

Re: PowerChurch Online Server Updates
One problem so far - a new setting that was supposed to limit sessions per server was actually limiting sessions overall, so once we hit that threshold, folks were getting a "too many connections" message. That's been resolved. Sorry for the inconvenience.

PowerChurch Online Server Updates
We've just made some major upgrades to the software which publishes PowerChurch Online. This is something we've wanted to do for a long time, as it fixes a number of issues we've had over the years. A lot of it is backend stuff you may not notice, but you should notice a few things. The new servers ...

Re: Microsoft Windows 11 Pro Update 9-9-2025
You'll probably need to speak with a technician to be sure, but take a look at this Microsoft Knowledge Base article, and see if this fits what you're seeing. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-server/storage/file-server/enable-insecure-guest-logons-smb2-and-smb3?tabs=powershell I probably wo...

Re: IDS Client "Failure to connect
The part was delivered first thing, and it was replaced as quickly as possible. Everything seems back to normal now. Again, sorry for the inconvenience.

Re: IDS Client "Failure to connect
Everything online was affected, just to different degrees. We had a piece of hardware that was failing, but hadn't yet reported failed which was causing stress on everything else. That component has been isolated, and services are being restored, though there may still be intermittent issues until w...

Re: IDS Client "Failure to connect
It seems to be limited to PowerChurch Online itself at the moment. PowerChurch Online Checkin, PowerChurch Mobile, and Empower are all up.

Re: IDS Client "Failure to connect
Sorry for the inconvenience, but this is an issue on our end, and we're working to get it sorted out. There's a status bar at the bottom of the main powerchurch.com site that will give updates as we have them.

Re: When is Power Church Online updating to version 14?
It is true that v14 has been released. In our testing, we have found some PowerChurch Online-specific edge cases which are preventing us from moving accounts en masse, and we are working to address those so we don't break anything accidentally. That said, if you would like to move to PCO14, we can d...

Re: Is there a Linux client for Powerchurch online?
You can give this a shot. It's a newer Linux client directly from Graphon, the company that makes the software we use to publish PowerChurch Online https://www.mypowerchurch.com/Clients/gg-client.linux.deb (Debian-based systems like Ubuntu, etc) https://www.mypowerchurch.com/Clients/gg-client.linux....
