Thanks all for the comments ...
I will look more closely at GoToMyPC. So far I'm trying to avoid opening any HTTP ports on our firewall, but will have a look at it anyway. It's also possible that http on standard ports is blocked by our ISP anyway, our T&C indicate that running VPM access is OK but web and mail servers are not all...

There should not be an issue with multiple DBs
WRT to "just running" Netsetup9, need to make the idea clearer, I guess. If the local PCPLUS9 "starts in" the network share, which is a property of a short-cut, it should use the database files on the server. That is the key to how the normal network client setup works. However, in the normal networ...

Another "remote access" strategy we are considerin
While the Virtual Private Network idea is working fairly well, we are considering another approach as well. The idea is this: 1) Do a FULL install of PCPLUS on each home user's PC 2) Have the home user connect to our network via VPN 3) Map the PCPLUS share on the server to a standard drive letter 4)...

So a MR never changes all the DLLs, etc. on the client?
I noticed the last MR gave us a new Netsetup9.exe
Did this not need to be re-run on all clients?
I have not looked at what new files are provided by the latest MR yet.

Terminal Server 2 user limit and explanation of original ?
Yes, the "base" Windows 2003 allows two remote desktop connections for "system management purposes" out of the box. There is also a "third connection" available but you need to use the command line mstsc /console to access it. To go full up, you need to install a Windows Component called Terminal Se...

Power Church Plus and Windows Terminal Server
We have installed PCPLUS9 on a Windows 2003 server. We are letting a couple users access it by using Windows XP Remote Desktop Connection aka RDP aka Terminal Server Client. We are considering getting Terminal Server CALS, and making this the "normal" way for all our PC+9 users access PCPLUS. Do the...

Maintenance Releases and Network Clients
I see there have been a couple of MRs for PC+9.
I installed the November MR before setting up Network Clients.
Now that the clients are setup, are there any MR tasks on the clients after I apply the December MR to the "server"?
