Importing data

Hey there,

I have to download the data from a previous back up which was downloaded on my hard drive. Can someone help?

If it is actually a backup that was made in PowerChurch, simply restore the backup by going to Utilities > Backup & Restore > Restore Files.

If it is just a copy of the files and not an actual backup, then you will need to manually copy the files back into the PowerChurch program directory. Be sure to look at the existing program directory structure to find out where the files are sitting and where you should paste them.

but they are simply files at this point. and the computer they came off was the latest, and the computer I currently have is with the older version.

the computer guy simply put the files on the drive.

It sounds like you may need to talk to someone in Technical Support, as you have more than one issue going on here.
