Custom Labels coming out too light

I do not have this problem with any custom reports I've written but the Custom mailing labels are printing too light. I have gone into File/preference/mailing label setup/Custom/edit layout/Report/Default fonts (and or properties) and I can't get the font, size, or bold/not bold to change. Again, no problem with our custom reports. I can change those fonts, etc with no problem.
I've also gone into Control panel/printers/properties and turned EconoMode OFF and also changed the Graphic print quality to 1200 x 1200. Still seems to print the labels in Courier, 10, regular.
We are using an HP Laserjet 2100.
Have any idea what I'm missing? Thanks.

did you 'ungroup' the label lines ?? I don't think you can do anything with the fonts, until the lines are ungrouped.
