Email working intermittently
I have been successful sending email from with PowerChurch 10.4 . But, it works sometimes, and not others. I get the message connection refused by server, when it is not working. I am trying to find out why the server would refuse the email from PowerChurch 10.4 one day, and not the other. Thanks, for any suggestions. Gene

Re: Email working intermittently
The internet service provider, or the hosted smtp server has a process that thinks you are sending out spam and has stopped your email processes. Contact your provider or administrator of the smtp server and ask what the rules are, explaining that you are sending solicited emails. These will help with getting a solution to this.

Re: Email working intermittently
Gene, I have had countless problems sending out Contribution statements and our Prayerline emails forever.
I finally am successful by sending out 10 emails and waiting 1 minute between each. You can set this up in the advanced features of file/preferences/system setup options/email. It hasn't failed after that. I must say though that this doesn't work when I set our Comcast.net internet cable service as my outgoing mail server. I have to use our website host, Triton.net.
