Error when access mapped Power Church

My user is getting the error below when accessing a mapped PowerChurch from a windows server. I have given full permission to the user on all the PowerChurch directories but it did not fix it.
This happens immediately after he clicks the PowerChurch shortcut created on his desktop. I used the netinstall while logged in as an admin to set this up for him.

The current user account does not have the proper permission to access PowerChurch Data files. You must have full control of the shared data file"

The Windows Server's main PCPlus directory : x:\Powerchurch, where x: is your physical drive letter, should have FULL ACCESS granted to EVERYONE.

You should not be granting individual user permissions to this directory, the user permissions built into Powerchurch will take govern the areas of the database users access. It really is not necessary to have the additional Windows Server permissions for each user.

Please review the networking requirements for Powerchurch here:

https://www.powerchurch.com/support/kb.php?id=35&type=1

If the directory is setup corrected according to that knowledge base article, I'd physically go to the user's machine and rerun the Netsetup115.exe file found in the mapped x:\Powerchurch\PCPLUS115\INSTALL directory. This will re-register everything on the local computer, and usually fixes a few issues.

If you're using an earlier version of PCPlus, look for a similarly named file in the main PCPLUSxxx directory.
