Got a question or comment about PowerChurch that doesn't belong anywhere else? Why not post it here!?

Missing 13th month in V9.

Post by Lori T. »

I am currently using PCP V9 installed on a Windows 2003 server and networked between three computers running XP. When I closed the last open month of December 2006, I do not find that I am in the "13th month" nor do I have "Close End Of Period" from the Accounting>Fund Accounting menu. I do have full administrative rights and we have checked it logged into the server with domain rights as well. The MaintenanceRelease has been installed. Have we missed somthing?

For some reason, I have a nagging memory that they did away with the '13th' month in V9.0 as you did not have to close months any longer, since you could keep up to 12 months open at a time.

There's more discussion about this in this thread:

Hope this helps.

Thanks Neil. We discovered the answer just after posting the question. I had searched the knowledge base unsuccessfully prior to posting but was putting in the wrong search words to get to what I needed. It was actually found through a Google search by our computer tech. rather than a search within PCP. Thanks again and may the Lord bless you this day.
