Key assignment for F2 key in Power Church

I am using a Logitech cordless keyboard that has pre-assigned the F2 key to open MS Word. I want to reassign the F2 key to the keys (i.e., shortcut) that PowerChurch programmers used for the F2 key.

Will someone look at the programming code or documentation and let me know what the key assignment is for F2?

Thanks,

Most likely, your keyboard has a "Function Lock" or "F-Lock" key, which toggles between the various functions that your function (F1-F12) keys are programmed with.

If I remember correctly, turning on the F-Lock will return the keys to standard Windows functionality.

There is no way to change PowerChurch Plus to conform to your keyboard.

My keyboard does have a toggle key. However, I didn't expect PowerChurch to change; I want to change the F2 kay on my keyboard to the keys that PowerChurch assigns to the F2 key.

What Zorak is saying is that your keyboard may have some sort of software that overrides the keyboard functionality in Powerchurch.

Have you tried using the toggle key to see if that helps with Powerchurch ??

That's about all the techies can suggest to help as they have no control (or knowledge) of what your system is setup with.

I realize that everyone is trying to get me to use the toggle key on my keyboard. What I WANT to do is REPROGRAM MY F2 KEY TO USE THE SAME KEY ASSIGNMENTS THAT THE POWERCHURCH PROGRAMMERS USED IN THE POWERCHURCH CODE!

I am getting the impression that the programmers and the technical people that monitor this forum have no contact with each other. Am I correct?

No, that is not correct.

Stated clearly, the "key assignments" that our Program Development staff used in the program is the F2 key. You can not reprogram PowerChurch Plus with a different key assignment. You may or may not be able to reprogram your keyboard with new assignments... You would need to contact your keyboard manufacturer about that.

Most likely, they will tell you to use the F-Lock key to toggle between functionality.
