Ver. 10.4 with latest Sept MR. (Windows XP) I was attempting to back up files which seemed to go ok. Then I was trying to verify the backup and got this message. "need to install runtime update files". In my attempt to do so nothing worked and now I cannot backup at all because I cannot get past this problem. Help from tech would be nice.

To manually install the Backup & Restore update files:

- Close out of PowerChurch Plus
- Right click the mouse on the PowerChurch Plus icon/shortcut on your Desktop
- Choose Properties
- Toward the bottom left of the window, click the "Find Target" button
- Windows Vista calls this "Open File Location"

This will open up the PCPLUS10 program directory

- Open the "Install" folder
- Locate and run the program called PC10DVD.exe

Close all open windows and try the process again.

Dear Zorak,
Thanks for idea. I tried as indicated and got same message. The message reads "Could not initialize installation C:\~GLC1034.TMP The system cannot find the file specified." Any ideas?
