Is there a way to not print the suffix (Jr., Sr., etc.) when choosing the preferred name layout?

I don't believe so. If you have it listed as part of the full name, it will be used with the last name if it is there.

For instance, if you have a full name of John F. Jones Jr entered, with a preferred name of Jack, it will show up as Jack F. Jones Jr.
