Recovering deleted members

OK, three members have been accidentally deleted, rather than rendered inactive. So, is there a quickie way to recover from such a deletion, or do we have to try and manually figure out which of the envelope 99999 records belongs to which user and re-renter them all?
(Sorry, too many transactions were entered before the error was discovered -- I *said* they were inactive, right? -- to make dropping back to a backup viable. We could create a new PCPlus setup with the old backup if there's a way to transfer the data from old to new, but replacing the current with the old is strictly out.)
