attendance report

I would like to create a custom report that lists only the members of a parish that have been absent in a given month. I know the consecutive absences report will show this but I have two problems with it.1- I want to group the people by their parish so the deacons can have their own report for their parish and 2- we have different service at our church and the standard report will only let you choose one activity and not a range.
If anyone knows how to do this please let me know.

You might want to download the latest MR for verison 10. We added the option to the consecutive absentee report to select activities by a range of activity numbers.

Also how are people coded to the parish? You can sort the report by Visit Area or Who Visits. The idea behind this was so that shpeherds could follow up with the people they were responisble for.
