I forgot how to do this & where I read how do this:
(not their real names)
James & Amy are getting a divorce.
James has Dir. Seq. #1
Amy is #2
They share the same envelope number...102.

James is the only one who contributes.

How do I enter James as a new member with his new address and move his number with all his Contribution information?

Kristi,

I would do the following. Just remove the envelope number from Amy in Maintain Personal Profiles. (Just change her envelope number to zero.) Now James would be the only one with that envelope number.

Add a new family for James, and move his profile to the new family. (To move a person from one family to another, select Move on the Maintain Personal Profiles screen.)

Since James is the only person with that envelope number, all the contributions will move with him to the new family.

If in doubt, make a backup before you begin making any changes.
