We use the Power Church program to do a data export and upload
the file to National Envelope Service. I have noticed that with a member who has an alternate address of Sept 2004 to April 2005, it is using the primary address in the data export file.

Is there a way to get the current alternate address as part of the upload file?

This has been something that's been fussed and fretted over by development. There are quite a few issues involved with this, so the solution we came up with was to only include the primary address. Part of the issue is, you normally have to order your envelopes in advance. When someone has an alternate address for, let's say April - June, you may have to order your envelopes in March for the next quarter , what address do you use? Do you use the current (primary) or the alternate? What if their alternate address is only good for the month of May? Which do you use then? It's for this, and other reasons, that the address used is always the primary. Sorry for any inconvenience.
