Attendance - Fast Data entry exceptions for Service members

Is there any way that certain persons can have a default entry for attendance?

What I am trying to do is have some of our members normally excused when we do a fast attendance data entry. This is for our service members who are currently overseas. I guess this would work for our college students also.

I don't want to have to excuse them each week, but I want to leave them on the attendance activity code because they do come occasionally.

This would be as opposed to the normal default action radio button you check at the beginning.

Would it be easier to leave them off the attendance roll and then just add them as an attender when they do show up?
