Church Directory Inconsistent

Hello, I am having problems with the Booklet format for the Church Directory. It is printing the last names twice, for example:
SMITH, John & Sally Smith (Johnson)
and then on some it has
SMITH, (JOHNSON) Sally & John Smith

I am finding it is very inconsistent.

I have also selected all the members and associate members and it doesn't print all of them. I exported it to Word, and I had to do A LOT of editting.
I am getting frustrated, because I don't know if it is some recording error that I did, or if it is the formatting error in the program.

Please help.

It looks ike you are using the "Print extra listing for spouses with different last names" option. This option is designed for those spouses that do not take the others last name. What this prints in the directory is a cross-reference listing for the second spouse (directory sequence #2) in case someone doesn't know the last name of the directory sequence 1 person.

In this case it looks like Sally's last name is entered as "Smith (Johnson)" when it compares her last name to John's "Smith" is says they do not equal and creates a separate cross-reference listing for her.

You can turn this option off, it is on the second page of the church directory assistant.
