I've sent a bulk email and received the following error message on my report for several addresses: 4.7.0 Try again later, closing connection. (MAIL) then several ##.

My question is, will the system automatically connect to the server and resend these messages or am I going to have to tag each profile and resend that way manually?

No, it's not going to remember those and try again later. Your idea to tag them and try later manually is probably your best bet in that case.
