We are having Vacation Bible School and wanted to check in the kids using name badges for certain classes. We also wanted to use the module to keep attendance. How would we check in the teachers for the classes for attendance purposes, but not require check out or name badge printing. Is this possible?

Check In pulls the security settings (requiring check out, printing name badges, etc.) from the Activities & Skills. You could have separate Activities set up for VBS Students and Teachers with different security settings. When you check a Teacher in, it would just record the Attendance status, but not print a name badge or parent ticket. When checking a Student in, it would record Attendance status, print a name badge, parent ticket, and set the child to be waiting for check out at the end of the event.

You can add the new Activity and set the Check In options by going to Membership > Activities & Skills > Maintain Activities & Skills.
