Closing 2009 Months

I was able to close Jan. 2009. I am trying to close all the months of 2009. With all the other months of 2009, I am getting the message Post transactions first. I have posted all transactions. Thanks, for any suggestions. Gene

Go to Utilities > Reindex > Accounting Files.

See if that pops up any problems in the accounting data. If not, try closing the month again. There may have been a ghost in the data somewhere.

I tried reindexing. But, I am still getting the same message that transactions need to be posted first. Thanks, Gene

I was just looking at posted items under Contribution. I went under Accounting, and posted. There were some transactions that needed to be posted. I posted them, and now I can close months, again. Thanks, Gene
