I recently upgraded to PCP v. 11 and just ran the latest maintenance release. I have noticed that it takes at least two minutes to run any Accounting report which is unusual since they normally run much faster. In the meantime I have to sit and wait for the report as it locks up PCP while it runs.
I typically run the Balance Sheet by Fund and the Income Statement by Fund as well as the Activity Report. I haven't used PCP much in the past year - I tend to only use it for the year-end activities for the past few years because we've got someone else who is doing the day-to-day bookkeeping. But I know these reports used to run really quickly - not like now.
Is there a setting I should be adjusting to make the reports run better or is this just a byproduct of additional features that may have been added to the software in v.11? Has anyone else experienced this?

Just wondering ... what else is running on your machine, and how much memory (RAM) does it have ?? I'm asking because we run PCPlus on a Pentium 4 with 1GB ram, and it doesn't take that long to do any reports.
My Dell Latitude is 3 years old and has 2 GB of RAM. I have been using this computer with PCP all along. I'm only running Excel concurrently, as usual. I can't think of what would be slowing me down - everything else is running fine.

I'd try doing a reindex, couldn't hurt. Also, are you on the latest maintenance release ??
