Changing the "closed month"

Post by Marge »

I can't find a place where I can change the "closed month" so I can open up a new one. I have 18 months that I can show, and I am at the end of that time. How do I go back and close March 2010 so I can use October 2011. I need to write checks for October 2, and I can't do that without closing March 2010. Help.............

Under >Accounting > Fund Accounting about half way down the drop down menu you will find the selection Close Month. This will close the oldest month that is open. You will be warned and asked to verify that you really want to close the month. You will then be able to change your working month the October.

Thank you so much. It is amazing how easy it was once I reread the instructions. That's what happens when your 'remembercator' gets old and out of date.
