Report Export to MS Word broke !!

I was trying to export a budget report to a MS Word file and this is what appeared:

export to an RTF worked fine !!

Cross Tabular reports do that. These are the reports that can have multiple columns that stretch onto a page to the right.

But is this something that has to do with the Word 97-2003 version created by the export, or the open of the file by Word 2010 ??
