I was working in accounting and my computer shut off. When I opened PowerChurch back up, there was the following message:
"An error accurred accessing system settings from the following files: FAINFO.
Functionality may be limited. Do you wish to continue?"
I clicked yes. When I go to accounting now it is wanting me to set up everything again as if there is nothing there. I've tried restarting my computer, but am still gettting the same error message. I do have the files saved on a hard drive, but the last time I saved them was in March.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Error message - accounting files wiped out
Please give us a call in tech support. There are tools available to fix whatever the problem is with the FAINFO file. Your accounting information is probably still there and unchanged. The FAINFO file stores information about your accounting, such as whether you have gone through the setup accounting process or not. Once that file is repaired or replaced, everything else should go back to normal.

Do you use an uninterruptable power supply? It would keep your computer from shutting down due to a power glitch. Using one has saved me a few times.kcm wrote:I was working in accounting and my computer shut off.
