Our financial secretary handles all deposits. This includes all monies received for contributions as well as fund raisers, rental income, etc.
I know how to connect the contributions to the accounting module. It is the non-contribution income that I'm interested in.
Is there a way for the financial secretary to create a combined electronic deposit slip for all monies? Currently I enter a transaction to debit checking and credit all the line items from the deposit. This is partially a duplication of effort.

Exactly what do you mean by 'electronic deposit slip' ?? The one printed by Powerchurch ??

Yes, I meant the one printed by PC.

Well .. you could create a set of contribution funds that are way beyond the normal set of numbers used, setup to update the proper income accounts, and have the financial secretary enter the data using a dummy envelope. In this way those non-contribution monies you want to deposit will show up on that deposit slip.dpetherbridge wrote:Yes, I meant the one printed by PC.
We just let our counters take care of the collection counting, deposit slip and the drop off at the bank on Sunday, and the financial secretary creates separate deposits for any other funds during the week as necessary.
So no funds are left overnight at the church.
