Changing Fiscal Year

Our fiscal year currently starts January 1, and we are switching to a July 1 start in 2013. We will accomplish this by running a six month year (January-June). I know I need to change the parameter in PowerChurch that determines the start of the year. I also plan on loading in the new budget prior to July. Once I do that, I'm assuming my year-to-date reporting will start on 7/1/13 and will reflect the new budget amounts. Will reporting for prior years also switch to a July-June fiscal year? This will create inconsistencies in comparative reporting, but I don't see how this can be avoided. From other postings, it seems that Contributions and Payroll can still run on a calendar basis. Has anyone else been through this with PowerChurch? Am I missing anything or heading for any major problems? We are running version 11.5.

I suspect previous year Funds Accounting reports will need to have the dates manually set to cover the previous Jan/Dec fiscal years. Contributions really has no interface with Funds Accounting except through the creation of FA transactions, and Payroll is much the same.
