Social Security and Medicare Wrong Account

Post by newsboy9 »

Hey Guys,
I just ran a report and realized that our Social Security and Medicare have been going to the Federal Witholding liability account, but I paid out of the correct accounts giving them a negative liability. What's the best way to correct this so everything looks like it's posted correctly from the beginning of the year?

Thanks,

Luke

Don't think you can make it look correct, but you can adjust the accounts. I would manually create the transactions to move the funds from the FITW to the SS/Medicare accounts.
