I ran this report and there are no records, as it should be, since the only data in these accounts is budget.Zorak wrote:Just out of curiosity, if you run a Journal Report from under Fund Accounting > Reports - Fund Accounting, and make the following selections, are there any results? Leave all the other options at their defaults.
Sub-accounts from: 001 To: 001
Accounting months:
From: January (earliest year in the list)
To: December (latest year in the list)
If not, then it sounds like a bug of some sort, but I'm not able to pin down where it might be breaking and we will need to do more in-depth research, possibly even getting an Accounting Files backup from you so we can try to recreate the issue.

I just tested it here and I get the same result as Nancy. If I put a budget amount in a sub account that has no activity in it and do not check the Include Budgeted Accounts the account is included in the report. If I then remove the budget the account is not included. I am using v 11.5 on a windows 7 system.

OK, I have written up a suggestion that we revisit the logic of the report. It may be deemed as working as designed, but you're right, it does take some investigative work to figure out why some accounts show and others don't.

I printed this report and the -001 accounts printed. So no bug!
