Is it possible to add a second checking account/register to the same general fund (01) and if so, how?

It can be possible, but here's the question. Is the checking account going to be used under the General Fund to pay bills, or is it covering another area of the church.

Sometimes creating a new accounting fund may be easier if you want to keep funds separate.

I did a search on 'two checking accounts' under the Accounting forum and found this thread. The responder, Matt, teaches Powerchurch use and gives great advice:
