Hi... got the emailing of payroll stubs to work with gmail after I verified with gmail that sending an email from Ashville was OK, but the recipients report that their PDF is password protected... is there a setting to NOT password protect the payroll stub or define what the password should be? Using Outlook 2016 and Adobe PDF reader.
- Thanks!

FWIW ... I'm fairly sure that the email stubs are being sent through the Powerchurch mailer not your local email program, however there is no way to stop the file from being assigned a password. However, the password is fairly simple.
From the Powerchurch Help File which is available by pressing the F1 key
Some setup needs to be done in advance to be able to e-mail payroll stubs. First, your employees will need to have e-mail addresses and Social Security Numbers on file. The Social Security Number (without hyphens: e.g. 123456789) is the password that is used in creating the secure PDF. You can enter this information for each employee on the Maintain List of Employees screen found under Accounting > Payroll. The e-mail address can be found under the Contact Information tab and the Social Security Number is assigned on the Payroll Information tab.
Hope this helps.

The password for the PDF is the Social Security Number with no hyphens (123456789).

Thanks!! I had done all the setup before e-mailing, just needed to know how the password was being assigned.
I will pass this info on the to recipients.
- Thanks again
