It is my understanding that according to the Affordable Care Act, we are supposed to report pretax medical insurance paid by the church on the behalf of the Pastor in Box 12 with designation DD. I do not see this as an option when setting up a pretax medical deduction. We pay this separately and do not take out of his payroll. I wanted to add it to his year end payroll numbers for W-2 reporting.

Since this isn't an actual item that processes in Payroll, you can just click into Box 12 on the screen preview of the W2s and enter code DD and the amount.
