Can 1099 NEC forms be printed on plain paper?

No .. none of the 1099 forms can be printed on Plain Paper. I don't think that its because it can't be done, but because the IRS has not approved any sort of replacement form.

Thank you for your response and the IRS do accept 1099 forms on plain paper. At my job we print 1099 forms on plain paper. I was just wondering if Power Church have it set up to where the forms can be printed on plain paper.

Powerchurch does not currently has the capability to print the forms on plain paper, as I said the IRS has to approve any replacement, and they have not authorized a replacement for use with Powerchurch.

The SSA has a "substitute black & white forms" option for the W2s and we are approved to do that.
We have been keeping an eye out for a similar option to be made available by the IRS for the 1099-MISC or 1099-NEC forms, but to date, we have not been able to find such an option.
