How Do You Delete A Fund?

We can't figure out how to delete a fund. We have some funds that were used a couple of years ago that we no longer use. They show up on our reports and we always have to explain to people why they are there.

We do add "DELETED" to the fund name to indicate that we are not using those funds any more. We cannot actually delete them because there are old transactions tied to the funds.

How can we get rid of those old funds that we will never use again?

Until you have deleted the posted transaction history, you won't be able to delete the funds or accounts.

You can, however change the fund numbers to 99, 98, 97, etc.

This will allow you to easily exclude them from reports... Run them for funds 01 to 90.
