Additional Federal Withholding

How do I withhold an additional dollar amount from ferderal withholding in Payroll - version 10.4?

I just created a new item called "Extra Withholding". Make sure it credits the Federal Withholding account when you set it up.

I go into "maintain employee pay items", select the employee and double click on Federal withholding and then enter "none" into the tax table and then enter the total amount the employee wants withheld.
