problem editing accounting fund

What I would like to do is modify Accounting Fund #05 to #06 (same name and data), and then Add a new #05 fund.

When I make the change and click Save, it asks for verification, which I give.

Then, I try to close the dialog box, and it asks again and again for verification. There seems to be no way out of this endless loop.
