My church is used to seeing account numbers on income & expense reports. Can it be done?

Typically, the choirs, Youth department, etc. will ask "how much is in "our account"? They will say something like "That expense was for the Youth Choir not the Sr. Choir." They can relate better to account numbers than to account names.

What you could do is insert the account numbers in the description for each account on your Chart of Accounts.
