I have two employees that the fed w/h taxes are not being deducted from their checks.
I have looked at the set up and everything appears to be correct.
I don't know what is wrong.

In order to help troubleshoot this, we sometimes ask basic questions to get a picture of what is happening.

Do you have the Fed W/H pay item to each of these employees?

Is the process check box checked?

Are there other employees whose Fed W/H is working correctly?

Thanks.

Are you using automatic tax tables? If so, the amount for these checks might not trigger a taxable amount.

I am using automatic tax tables.

I guess I won't worry about it. One person has already set up an amount to be wd from each check. I will suggest that to the other one.

Thanks.

Just to confirm John's hypothesis, what is the approximate gross paycheck for these two employees ??
