Restrict two users to only part of accounting module.

We have two bank accounts, one for church, the other for school. Fund accounts are seperate numbers, and church and school write there own checks. The church bookkeeper manually enters the school data into the full church program. The computers are at seperate locations, and are not linked, but could be via modum or internet.
Church uses ver 9. I want to have the school also use 9, instead of their existing (non PC+) accounting program.
Is there any way to have both use the same ver 9, on seperate computers, with the church bookkeeper (and me as treasurer), having access to the combined data, but the school bookkeeper having access to only the school checking account, funds, check writting and reports?
Or is there a way to have the school do their own bookkeeping, but merge their data into the full church program, without the schools input changing or being able to view the church data?
Can this be done via backup/restore?

Have you considered setting up a network at your church to do this? It sounds like it would make things a lot easier for you. You can restrict access so the school bookkeeper would not be able to access the Contributions module, for example. However, if they are both using Fund Accounting and Accounts Payable I don't think you can restrict them from seeing both the school and church data.
