I have Verison 9.0 and convert my data from 8.5. I want to change the Chart of account by changing the number for example of telephone 01-5125 to 01- 5134 etc and others. What will happen to the data that was in the old account ? and could it be transferred to the new account in version 9 ? Or would it be better to setup the new chart of account in version 9 and enter starting balances ?
Any suggestion will be appreciated. I looking in the new manual also

Also, on the V9 CD, there is a tutorial that discusses changing and merging accounts. To access it,
insert your V9 CD, and allow it to autorun
select "Support and Other Resources"
select "Tutorials (Viewlets)"
select "Accounting"
select "Change or Merge Accounts"
This should get you going in the right direction.
By the way, these tutorials will be available on the website soon, and will be included in the search function.
