My employer portions for FICA and SECA are not making to my 941 report automatically. What have I done wrong?

Did you setup your Employer Social Security pay item as shown in this knowledgebase article??

FWIW ... Any employee portion of SECA is taxable income and should be taxed under FITW, and should be listed as under wages on the 941.

I am using Version 11. Thank you for the tip. I can see how to do it now!!!

I took over as our bookkeeper in January. My predecessor did not show me all the ins and outs of the system.

If I change Withholding Allowances mid-year, will it only use that new number going forward? I assume it won't go backward.

Correct, as the withholding has already been done on the previous paychecks.

Looks like I posted my response on the wrong problem. I got the withholding allowance to work.

I checked the knowledge base article you posted. I appears to be set up in the manner that is described there.

Any insight?
