I just started using Powerchurch. Can you help me with setting up the software
to Canadian version? I already checked under the System Setup the one with
Canada but there is no change in the Payroll like the EI, CCP and the taxes?

Also, how do you setup the email account? I entered the email address but i do not
know where to find the SSL certificate and etc of the provider.

Setting up your email can be as easy as checking what you have for settings on your local email program like Outlook or Thunderbird.

Here are the steps if you use Outlook or Outlook Express:

For Thunderbird,
1. right click on your email account on the mail screen, and select SETTINGS from the menu that appears.
2. In the SETTINGS window that appears, look for the OUTGOING SERVER (SMTP) in the left hand list and highlight it with your mouse.
3. On the right you should see the SMTP server settings (if you only have one email account setup) use those settings to setup the Powerchurch email settings. If your ISP does NOT use port 25 for SMTP, you will need to add it to the server name.
For example: the server uses port 465, you would then enter the SMTP server like this:
mail.myserver.com:465

Payroll Set up is USA
I use the Revenue Canada Website to do the Calculations. Then input the info in the program I can send you some reports if you wish?
