HELP with Accts. Receivable

This is a side of Powerchurch that we have never used, however I would like to start using it for some of the fundraisers that we are going to be doing to keep track of who has paid what etc. But the problem is I don't have a clue how to start! Can anyone be of some assistance to me on this?

To use the AR module you need to set up accounts for each customer and item descriptions (i.e. things you will bill for). Then you create customer invoices for the items you want to bill.

Then, when you receive money from the customers, you post them as payments against the invoices you created.
