Can Account month be changed on Posted contributions

I just posted 5/2/2010 to accounting month April 2010. Is there a way to change them to accounting month May 2010? I can restore to before I made any entries today, and re-enter today's contributions. Thanks, financedepartment

Once they're posted in Funds Accounting, you're stuck. That said you can make reversing transaction for the income and checking accounts, then enter new transactions with the correct month.

That will save you a bunch of reentry on the Contributions Side.

However, you're posting this question in the Contributions forum, this may mean that all you did was post the contributions TO Funds Accounting, and have not yet posted these transactions in FA. In that case, you can go into Funds Accounting Modify Unposted Transactions, and find the transactions that were sent over from Contributions and change the accounting month to May.

I did the modify transaction in the Accounting Funds. I changed the posting date from April 2010 to May 2010. Now when I run the the contribution report for month of April, I see only the April's contribution, and not the May 2, 2010. Thank you very much. You have been a blessing. Shalom. Gene

Again, I'm assuming that the 'contribution report' you're speaking of is something in Funds Accounting ??
