Mailing Labels for Designated Contributors

We have had a couple of funerals, funds were donated to the Church in memory of those individuals. We send out a thank you letter to each person but I am not able to find a way to search for a specific designation (I set up a memorial fund account and then set up a designation for each individual that has passed). Is there a way to print labels for a specific set of contributors that gave to a specific designation. So far I only see a way to print labels for everyone that contributed to the "memorial fund" and no way to just pick the 7 people that gave to the memorial fund in memory of John Smith and 4 that gave in memory of Jane Smith.

Evidently, this is something that was overlooked when the idea of designations was created. It would be a good addition to the mailing label functionality if the capability to select a designation was added in some way.

That said, I'm guessing you can probably create a custom report to do this. You'd create the report in the Contributions Module's custom report section using the Posted contributions data. Then you can select the designations and the time frame you want to use.

I got the suggestion for this documented today. It's probably too late for it to make it into V11.5, since we are hoping to start shipping it any day now.

It would be helpful. I went through the process of creating a report and tried to figure out how to make labels from the output, I have a little work to do on it but can probably get it done.
