We have just started using the contributions module (stand alone). When we entered data for contributors and then tried to print a report. we noticed that the dates defaulted to 1/1/2003 to 12/31/2003. How can we get those to move forward to 2004 dates? We are not using the accounting module, so we would not close out date periods, I don't think. Can't see where this is set in the preferences for contributions.

We'd appreciate any suggestions.

When running Contribution Statements it is considered that in Jan and Feb months you will be running statements for the prior year, so the date defaults to that. After a date (sorry don't remember exact date) it will roll over and default to this years date.

After Feb 1, the date will default to the current year.

Thanks. We don't have long until he defaults to 2004 dates, then. The 2003 dates in January certainly makes sense. This forum area of the website is very helpful.
