Automated Import of Contribution Information - Enhancement

Hi,
We have been PChurch users for over 10 years and have for long been requesting an automated import of Contribution Information. At present, we have over 200 people who make pay monthly dues through an ACH debit program. This program can export the data required for import. The Env Numbers is the key element there. We can get an Excel/delimited output of Envelope No, Payment Amt, FundNumber and Due Date which I believe are the only fields we need to do an ENTER Contributions operation.

Can PowerChurch tell us when this will be available? At present, we waste several hours manually entering/reconciling this data - every month into PowerChurch after we send our ACH out.

Thanks a lot.

I agree - I've been working with the product for a year now and notice that there are a couple of things missing.

1. we have folks who use their corporate payroll deptartment to make deductions on every paycheque for church contributions. The amount is always the same and the offering is designate to the same funds all the time. It would be great to have a repeating contribution option to make these inputs easier (automated).

2. i've been asked to set up electronic funds transfer - probably EFT/FTF and will again be taking one or two contributions per month from multiple accounts that will be repeating entries.

Without a repeating contribution option, an import from a spreadsheet or CSV file would be a suitable alternative to make these contribution entries quicker and more accurate and less painfull.

yes, having ACH linkage, etc. into the contributions module would be wonderful and a big time saver.
