Error message
I recently installed a newer computer using Windows XP with all the latest upgrades. Since I did that we occasionally and very surprisingly and frustratingly get the attached error message. We have to shut down PC+ and re-run it and sometimes it works and only occasionally it doesn't. Does it make sense to any of you down there? We have set up a LAN between that computer as the server and the one I use. Never a problem before during the 6 years or so we've used it. I hasn't occurred when I access PC+ on the server from mine...yet. You can see from the screen capture that my buddy clicked on Account Activity when the error message popped up and only ctrl-alt-delete is able to extricate us from the program. At that point we're hanging.

Re: Error message
The program that is listed in there is Check Paper Size. PowerChurch Plus is basically asking your printer about the default paper size, making sure it isn't an envelope or 4x6 photo or something.
The C5 indicates that Visual FoxPro doesn't like the answer it's getting. One quick fix might be to download and install the latest drivers for your printer model.
I'm sure Tracy will pipe in here at some point, but that is where I would start.

Re: Error message
Paper size? We've had no problem printing reports, checks, etc. And there's been no changing of paper size at all. Always 8.5x11. I'll look into a drive update when I return on Monday. I was wondering if perhaps the installation of WinXP was in some way corrupted or even the PC+ program (all updates have been installed). Fortunately my colleague has left for FL until the middle of February so I have some time to get this straightened out.

Re: Error message
Problem solved! The pastor overheard me talking to a colleague and ordered me a new computer!
