payroll- too much tax taken out of check

We have already posted our last payroll for 2011, and have discovered that $1 too much in local tax was taken out of our pastor's paycheck. Since our next payroll will be in 2012, we cannot simply correct this in the next payroll. Does anyone know how to make this correction in payroll? Thank you.

One way is to create a Pay Item for payroll correction of $1 or -$1, whichever you need.

Run a payroll with just the Pastor turned on for that payroll.
